Uldine Castel MD
Medical Director
Dr. Castel grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley and moved to the East Coast for her educational years. She completed college in New York and medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia. After completing residency at Ventura County Medical Center in 2003, she started work as a Family Physician in the area.
Dr. Castel had done training in facial aesthetics and injections when she worked with HIV positive patients who suffered from facial changes sometimes seen from previous generation HIV medications. In addition to that, she also attended trainings given by top aesthetic providers in Los Angeles. This is where she met Josie Arrigoni.
As they got to know each other, they discovered that they had a very similar philosophy about beauty and how to approach this industry. Dr. Castel believes that beauty is mostly found "under the skin", but sometimes it takes softening lines and smoothing surfaces to be able to fully embrace someone's beauty. Feeling good about yourself is a lifelong, multidisciplinary journey and this is only one, small aspect of achieving it.
