Morpheus8 uses Bipolar radiofrequency energy, which ensures the safe return of energy within the treatment area. This stands in contrast to many Monopolar energy devices, where the energy current may persist and travel to unwanted areas throughout the body.

Morpheus8 is a versatile platform, but like any device, the results are dependent upon the provider’s skill, experience, and control behind the device. The customizable settings allow your provider to adjust handpiece tip size, energy level, depth of penetration, and cycle mode. This enables your Functional Beauty provider to have extra control over the procedure to ensure the best and safest results for your unique skin type and anatomy.
What To Expect
1. Consultation: Your journey begins with a consultation where your provider will listen to your concerns and formulate a plan based upon your unique anatomy, skin type, and goals.
2. Prep: Before the procedure, your provider will cleanse the treatment area to ensure it's free from oils and makeup and apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area. You will need to allow the numbing cream 1 hour to sit and activate before the treatment begins.
3. Procedure: Once you're comfortably numb, your provider will give the treatment area another refreshing cleanse and start stamping the handpiece across those targeted spots. The microneedles create controlled micro-injuries, while the radiofrequency energy stimulates your skin's own collagen and elastin production.
4. Sensation: You may feel a sensation of heat and mild discomfort during the procedure, but the topical numbing cream helps manage potential discomfort.
5. Duration: The treatment duration can vary depending on the size and number of areas being treated. Expect your Morpheus8 session to last around 2 hours including the numbing time.
